CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS:

 

JOB TITLE: MEAT CUTTER (FULL TIME)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for cutting, grinding and packaging an assortment of beef, pork, and poultry items, using equipment like meat saws, slicers, grinders, wrapping machines and knives.
- Maintain proper product assortment, merchandising and product quality on the sales floor at all times.
- Ensures that products are weighed and packaged properly according to COOL, USDA and company guidelines.Product date rotation is followed to maximize product freshness and quality of items available in display cases and stored in coolers.
- Provides exceptional customer service in the department including cutting special request orders, assisting customer on the sales floor as well as answering phone calls to the department. May also receive, inspect and order products as needed.
- Ensures that proper safety, sanitation and food safety guidelines are met daily. They will work closely with the Department Manager and Store Manager to maintain the department goals and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have previous experience as a meat cutter.
- Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
- Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.
- Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to change/adapt any prior cutting techniques to ensure the quality and consistency our Meat Department manager and our customers expect.

 

JOB TITLE: CAFE CLERK (PART TIME)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Prepare sandwiches, breakfast items, drinks and other to-order food products.
- Work with the manager to monitor the freshness of food and ingredients.
- Follow proper cleaning, sanitation and food safety guidelines. Equipment will be utilized in a safe manner, in accordance with store policies and procedure. Maintaining proper organization of work spaces is also required.
This position may perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Previous working experience in food service preferred, but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills.

- Ability to resolve problems efficiently.
- Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.
- Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.

 

JOB TITLE: KITCHEN STAFF (PART TIME & FULL TIME)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Basic cooking and food preparation.
- Providing exceptional customer service in prepared foods areas.
- General cleaning of the department.
- Executing daily product rotation and filling.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to follow written instructions.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must work well with others.
- Food preparation knowledge a plus.

 

JOB TITLE: BAKER (FULL TIME)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Produce a wide range of scratch-made baked goods. These include cakes, pies, cookies and more.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all products produced each day.
- Maintain the highest degree of cleanliness and organization in the bakery.
- Accurately order department supplies and equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

- Some experience in a bakery or pastry position. Educational background in baking or pastry a plus.
- Keen organizational skills and efficiency.
- A passion for pastry.
- An ability to embrace change and take direction, but also maintain a high degree of self-motivation.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
